INNOVATION – Guildelines for authors or research notes

Scope: Research notes report about ongoing research in various fields of interest to Innovation. They are both shorter and less comprehensive than original research articles, their objective being that of informing the research community about ongoing or recently completed research which is likely to lead to new scientific insights rather than advancing a thorough theoretical or empirical argument.

Length: 2,000 to 4,000 words (including references and notes)

Minimum reference requirements:
Must relate to an ongoing or recently completed research project, which is explicitly referred to in the research note and described additionally in a ‘box’ (with information on grant or contract number, duration, who finances its, amount of financing, research partners and main research outputs)

Harvard referencing style (see Notes for Contributors)

Reviewing modalities:
Research notes are reviewed by the journal’s editorial board.
